The base engine now has 35 more horsepower than in 2018.The 2019 model has more cargo space with the rear seats up, though maximum capacity is actually down slightly. The 2019’s center stack has a noticeably less-busy look, as Porsche eliminated many of the physical buttons for infotainment functions and enlarged the touch screen. There are also some new driver assistance features for 2019, including a head-up display, traffic sign recognition, and night vision assist.
The 2019 Cayenne E-Hybrid replaces the 2018 Cayenne S E-Hybrid, and Porsche says that it gains enhancements that give the new vehicle an advantage not only over the old hybrid model, but gas versions of the Cayenne. The 14.1-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack also gives the new Cayenne E-Hybrid an increase in electric range. The EPA tasted the Porsche Cayenne 2019 and said the previous model was rated at 22 miles of electric range, while the new model brings that to 27 miles.
The interior comes with via a 12.3-inch Porsche Communication Management infotainment screen every Cayenne gets this tech.
